I feel funny just sending out e-mails about my professional adventures while
not saying hello properly, so "hello".
It's fall here in Woodstock and really beautiful. I am house-sitting for a
friend this week. Taking care of her 4 cats and generally keeping an eye on
things. You can imagine how happy I was when one of the kitties delivered a
chipmunk to me the first morning I was here. And then this morning I found
another of the cats playing football with a gray mouse. Cats will be cats.
I'm enjoying the time away from home - albeit only a couple of miles away.
Peter and I have a couple of dates scheduled which is very fun and nice. I
have been writing and walking and making new music and generally staying
pretty quiet which has been a blessing. Thankfully the weather is perfect
and I can take long walks and enjoy Woodstock as a tourist for a change.
As you probably know by now, I will be doing a radio show tonight which will
shock me back into the world for a few hours. I'm looking forward to it.
I'm also glad to realize again how much I love Peter and our home and how
grateful I am for all that life has given me.
Hope that you are all well.
Much love to you
